Description
This is a scarce Civil War federal issue blanket in brown wool, and having the three strand “US” stitched at the center. The ends of the blanket are not hemmed. An item always needed to complete the collection of the Union soldier of the Civil War.
Condition is fine+ with small areas of mothing. I have no area for taking a photo of the blanket completely opened, but what you can see in photos provided is a blanket with comparatively few issues. Some minor fraying on the ends. No doubt better condition than what would have come back from the war.
