Dark Russet With A Belt Slide.
Harder and harder to find in any condition is this great example of a WWII general officer’s russet belt and two piece eagle buckle. The condition of the leather suggests that this may very well be an un-issued item. The size ’36’ belt and buckle show the slightest bit of wear.
This belt is stamped in gilt letters with the maker’s name, “Hickok 36.”
The box is sound but with some wear to the corners.
The distinguish this one from another, I am referring to this one as “dark russet,” as the other will be ” russet.”
