Blue cloth boards with gilt lettering on front and gilt knapsack on rear. Light wear to edges and corners, even toning to pages. Good tight copy.
This book contained a loose copy of a 4 page flyer/newletter entitled, “THE CADET REGIMENT” Birth of the Regiment and its Friends in 1862, A Talk Given at the Winter Meeting, Feb. 14, 1900.”
This unit served its entire time in the Department of North Carolina. There are some handsome reproduced art pertaining to their campaign during the war, throughout the book.
