The green Moroccan binding in neatly done, with ribbed and ornate gilt spine, gilt edging on both boards. Some light wear on spine hinges, corners. Marbled end papers with interior gilt borders (inner flyleaf stamped, “Bound By Sangorski &Sutcliffe, London England, For Marshall Field And Company.” Paper edges toned, tight and fine copy.
Last flyleaf contains the dates of Cooks voyages, The First; 1768-1771, The Second; 1772 – 1775, The Third; 1776 -1779.
