WWII era sterling ring and fob for the 10th Mountain Infantry Division.
This pair of items related to the 10th Mountain Division are both made of STERLING, and are from the WWII era.
The ring is made “FNIGE Co.” (not sure of that spelling), and marked sterling below that. The fob was made to resemble a watch key. Both pieces have red and blue enamel (white also on the fob).
Sides of the ring have spread winged eagles atop federal shields and crossed sword hilts.
Condition of the ring is very good, showing use, with minor scratches, wear to silver, and the fob fairing much better in excellent condition. These two pieces came together in a collection, unfortunately there was no history as to the owner.
