11th Ammunition Train, Hawaiian Division – DUI.    This unit was formed at Schofield Barrack, Hawaii, in 1921, and inactivated in 1930; disbanded in 1953.  Made by “A.H. Dondero.”   The eight pointed star represented the 8 islands of the Hawaiian chain, a red projectile over a red wheel, symbolic of the train’s mission, encircled by a wreath of green taro leaves. Red and gold are the colors of the Kingdom of Hawaii.

Screw back.

Condition is excellent, with a few tiny flaws in the enameling which occurred in production.

Another hard DUI to find.
