1848 Mexican War Era Letter Concerning A Commission In The Regular Army.  Dated Montgomery, Ala, May 22, 1848, from a John T. Walton of Alabama, to Governor John Gagle, and at this time a member of the U.S. House of Rep. Walton is forwarding the name of A. W.
