1895 General Officer’s Cap, NGP, 3rd Division

Showing little wear overall, this fine condition M1895  General Officer’s Undress Garrison Cap was made for an officer in the National Guard State of Pennsylvania (NGP).  The maker is Wm. H. Wilson, Philadelphia.

The front of the cap has the state seal of Penn. and the blue velvet color within the Keystone represents the 3rd Division.  Side buttons are Penn state seal “NG” marked.

Condition overall is fine with light wear and toning to the gilt bullion work. Great representative piece.
