CDV – 1st Lieutenant David W. Low 8th Massachusetts Infantry

David W. Low, from Gloucester, Ma, was 27 when he enlisted in January of 1861, being commissioned a 3rd lieutenant into Co. G. 8th Mass Infantry, and mustered out in August after his 3 month service.  Low had subsequent service in the other 8th Mass regiments, serving to November of 1864.  He made the rank of captain by Sept. of 1862.
