Two of the three are marked with the N.S. Meyer trademark shield on the reverse.
These three badges came in a collection together, but I have no clue if they were issued to the same individual.
The top badge is the Pattern 1885 Marksman’s badge, unmarked, pin back with open catch (all are); the next one down on the left is the 1885 Sharpshooter badge, with the N.S. Meyer trademark shield on the reverse. The last one is the 1903 pattern Expert Rifleman badge.
I have not discovered the purpose behind the gilt and enameling finish, other than to assume they are artillery related, and from the WWI era (1st 2 are issued up to 1921).
These could have been awarded in a special shooting contest, or awarding.
Any help would be appreciated if you have any knowledge of their use.
All are in fine + condition, and make for a nice display.
