Description
Lot of 3 Monroe County, New York Veteran’s membership badges, for dates, 1915, 1916, and 1918. Each badge is made of bronze and suspended by blue ribbon and a pin brooch (two have rank and or corps badge).
The badges have photo images of Capt. Henry Lomb, 13th NYVI, Gen. Isaac Quinby, 13th NYVI (Colonel of the 13th), and Thomas W. Ford. All are made by Bastion Bros, Rochester, NY.
The 13th New York Infantry served until the time just after the Battle of Chancellorsville, and saw heavy action at the 1st Bull Run, Gaines Mills, and the 2nd Bull Run, as well as many other well known battles. I have no info on Ford.
