Post War Occupation of Japan Era Made Japanese patches. All very similar, but distinctly different in color.
This lot of 4 Occupation of Japan vintage 24th Infantry Division, Japanese made patches, all very similar, but rather different in color. Obviously many Japanese companies / tailors made these patches for occupational troops, and copied American made fully machine embroidered types. Each one of these patches shows a difference in color, and slight differences in construction. The Taro leaves on each patch don’t match in shape (thinking they would being made by a machine), and several other small differences that make me believe these are produced by different makers.
Nice colors, make for a nice display. Looking for variants? One stop shopping!
All are in very good condition.
