6th Wisconsin Battery Veteran’s Badge- 1889, Bronze badge having the 15th Corps badge at center with crossed cannons below. Worn at the 1889 Milwaukee reunion.
The 6th Wisconsin Light Artillery, also known as the “Buena Vista Artillery,” formed at Racine and mustered into service on October 2, 1861. This unit served in the Western Theater.
