8×10 Glossy Photo of General Douglas MacArthur Signing the Japanese Surrender Document – SOLD

The photograph shows General of the Armies, and Supreme Allied Commander signing the surrender document of Japan aboard the USS Missouri, 31 August, 1945. As he signed this historic document, he used several pens, two of which went to Lt. General Jonathan Wainwright, who surrendered U.S. Forces to Japan on Corregidor, and Lt. Gen. A.E. Percival, who likewise surrender British Forces to the Japanese at Singapore.
