A hardbound with paper boards and leather spine. Illustrated, with one folding map of Massachusetts, that was hand colored early on.
Condition of the book shows some light water stains on upper boards and pages, but not as bad from front to back. Foxing throughout, but does not affect the clarity of the text. Spine leather is cracked in several places in folds, overall general wear and soiling and in very good condition.
A delightfully informative book on many aspects of early Massachusetts and it’s history. Also chapters on the Rivers, Mountains, Forest trees & Fruit trees, and much more.
