This appears to be an obscure medal from the WWII era, made by BB& B in Sterling.
I some reference to this organization, but listed the same with the addition of, “Of the United States.” The symbol used on the organization is different from that on the medal, so if they are the same, this must be an earlier version, or completely different.
A handsome medal made by BB& B, and interestingly completely spelled out on the reverse with “Philadelphia;” a three line hallmark. Red and blue enamel used predominately with white enamel used within the small stars that circle the gilt coat of arms for the Assoc.
The silk ribbon is excellent and firmly attached to the pin brooch with locking ring.
Anything Bailey, Banks and Biddle undertook is always top quality.
