Just a great shot of this New Hampshire private- I believe either 15th or 16th N.H.V.’s.
it would have been great to have the identity of this New Hampshire soldier, seating for his picture dressed in frock coat, and most of his accoutrement. He proudly displays his forage cap with the immediately recognizable “N H V” affixed to the front of the crown. He belonged to company “I,” and I believe his regiment is either the 15th or 16th.
No photographer back mark.
Fine quality image, in very good + condition; some light soiling, one tiny hole in the area mid shoulder belt.
