A sharp, quality image of a full standing light artillery soldier.
This image was photographed by F.S. Keeler, Philadelphia, and is quality work. The cdv is sharp in detail, and condition to match it.
This soldier wears an artillery shell jacket, mounted trousers (clearly seen), saber belt, and a Model 1840 light artillery saber with knot. I can’t make out the brass insignia on the crown of the forage cap, but might be known to you knowledgable types.
Lightly clipped corners, other wide a fine image.
