Civil War Era Patriotic American Flag – SOLD

Description

A small hand held 30 star American Flag on a narrow gauge wooden pole.  About 4 1/2″ tall, with the flag being 1 1/2″ x 2.”

The period of a 30 star flag would be 1848-1851, but my feeling is that the maker used evenly spaced stars in the canton for manufacturing ease.  If it is indeed the earlier period then the better for you.

Condition is fine with light wrinkles, and some minor fraying around the edges.
