This leather billfold was intended to be worn on a belt, as there are two areas cut open on the back to allow a belt to go through. The width of the belt would be at the maximum 1 3/4 inches. The billfold looks very much like a pistol cartridge pouch, but to thin for that purpose. Two inner sections for paper money and other script for documents.
Measures 5 x 6 3/4 inches (flap), and main pouch area about 5/8 inch thick Closure strap as well as all the leather and stitching are fine. Great leather with decorated spread winged eagles and geometric designs.
Fine condition, missing only the leather knot that worked with closure strap to secure billfold.
