Description
A young cadet in gray uniform stand “At Rest” with is musket and affixed bayonet in studio. The forage cap on the table beside him appears to have the letters, “P.S.C.” Given the photographer, B.F. Reimer of Philadelphia took this image, this is most likely a local boy’s military school.
The backmark also bears the added negative number in pencil, and the photographer has cancelled the 2 cent Proprietary Revenue stamp.
A nice image.
