Description
HISTORY OF THE 308TH INFANTRY 1917-1919, BY L. Wardlaw Miles, Captain, 308th Infantry, G.P. Putnam’s Sons, New York and London, The Knickerbocker Press 1927. Hard blue cloth boards, 357 pages, very well illustrated with photographs (one large foldout). Gilt lettering on cover and spine.
Condition is very good, with one split in flyleaf papers in front, binding is sound. Light wear and a bit of soiling to cover, 1/2 inch tear at lower spine in cloth, pages clean.
Contains a complete Honor Roll, and Roster, by unit, citations (with service numbers given).
A good usable history, and a great research tool.
