Fine hallmarked wings; two piece construction.
J.R. Gaunt Crewman’s Wings, in fine condition. These wings came from a grouping of mostly paper for an intelligence officer in the 9th and later Strategic Air Force during WWII (Lt. Col. Max Lapides). There was nothing in his paperwork saying he was authorized to have these, and must have been acquired from an airman who worked with him.
