This larger proportioned membership badge in bronze, was a style chosen for the 16th Annual National Encampment in Muncie, Ohio, in 1895. The center of the G.A.R. badge has the typical scene of soldier and sailor with the American Goddess of Liberty, with this one showing a bird’s eye view of the City of Muncie.
