Richmond Photographer’s Stereoview Of Libby Prison. D.H. Anderson, who had recently moved his business to Richmond in 1865, produced this stereoview between 1865 -1870s (presumably the earlier period). His printed catalog of views is found on the reverse. The image was taken after the Federal occupation of the Confederate Capital in April of 1865, with Union soldiers standing about for the picture, and one sentry actually on duty.
Rounded corners, but very good condition overall.
