A very scarce lapel pin/badge worn by Sons of Veterans in 1919 at Knoxville, Tn.
A scarce lapel pin or badge made of brass and blue enamel, for the Sons of Veterans for the Committee -Battlefield Encampment for Sept. 18-19, 1895, at Knoxville, Tenn. Nearly 1 1/2 inches high, the pin has a screw off stud, and has no maker’s marking.
On the lower part of the pin is the S of V in monogram. The shape is unmistakable, being the acorn and representative of the 14th Army Corps. I have not be able to locate another of its kind.
