The 21st National Encampment at St. Louis, Mo., Sept. 27, 1887 had these Handbooks with a chronology of the war produced with color images of Civil War corps badges within. Handed out by the Michigan Central Rail Road, with their stamp on the inside title page.

Printed for the Illinois Central Rail Road Co., by Matthews, Northrup & Co., Buffalo, N.Y., 1887, The fold out map is approximately 14 x 14 and is in very good condition; a few small separations in folds. Show the middle of the country with a blow-up of the City of St Louis.

The folding cover has some damage where something stuck to the inside flap, and pulled paper away from that area, affecting some of the text (half dozen letters). Some soiling, light stains on cover.
