This Copy Of THE ROMANTIC RECORD OF THE 1st Virginia Infantry 1680-1931, Was Printed For (manuscript) “General Wm. McK. Evans, U.C.V. (signed) “T.S. Wharton” Captain, 1st Infantry Virginia National Guard.  No printer information,  Stiff paper wraps, 104 pages, very well illustrated with photos, advertisements.

The history contains a roster for the 1931 period, Staff and Field, Band, Companies, etc.

The condition of the book is fine + showing just some creasing on the cover edges and corners, very clean and tight copy.

Has a nice four color image of the unit crest (Distinctive unit insignia); photos of regimental command, all officers, company photos, Confederate monuments, etc.
