This is a lot of two booklets, Mission Accomplished- Africa Sicily Italy & Victory Across French North Africa, both produced in the Mediterranean Theater.

Victory Across French North-Africa, Souvenir of the War, by Brouty was produced by G. Dinesco, in Algers, 1943. It is soft covers, 56 pages with illustrations, and as the table on context reads, is truly a souvenir of the sights in North Africa.

Mission Accomplished- Africa, Sicily, Italy is a black and white booklet produced by the Information & Education Section MTOUSA.  24 pages made of poor quality paper, intended only for distribution to the troops, and clearly never made for the long haul.  It is illustrated with loads of photographs, map plates, with shoulder sleeve insignia on the back page, along with images of “Willie & Joe,” Bill Mauldin’s immortalized dog-faced characters.

Condition overall is good, with Mission Accomplished showing more chipping and paper loss due to the poor quality product.

Both are ideal for the period theater printed paper collection.  I have not seen the Victory Across French North Africa prior to obtaining this copy. inside cover of Mission Accomplished has been repaired with Acid free tape.
