Various pockets and flap uses rimless eagle snaps.
I believe this pouch is made by Mills, although I can find no markings. The use of eagle snapped equipment is usually Mills manufacturer. A red cross is stenciled on the front flap, along with a medical caduceus/ US, and when closed, uses two metal tipped straps that go through locking buckles. The tan canvas pouch is trimmed in a light green cotton material.
This pouch when folded measures approximately 8 inches square, and when open and fully extended is 29 inches. There are two inner pouches and a large flap that when opened exposes sewn canvas slots that hold medical supplies.
This is in fine condition with a few stains in the area of the buckles and strap ends. Appears to be an un-issued item from the WWI period.
