German made badge for pocket- V CORPS Artillery competition.
This un-official brass and enameled badge was made for the 1960 “Commanders Match” – V Corps Artillery, in Germany, and made by STEMPEL-SCHULZ / DARMSTADT. Without knowing little about it, I have to surmise this was created for artillery unit gunnery competition for that year. V Corps artillery was composed of all types of field artillery ranging up to very large pieces include those with Nuclear capability, not to mention missiles and rocket types.
42mm x 60mm.
Typically applied German clutch pins, no clutches.
