Fine quality pair of sterling majors rank insignia made with open catch.
This pair of major’s rank insignia was made by Bailey Banks & Biddle, of Philadelphia, probably in the WWI- 20’s era as the pin bar is still using the open catch, common for that period and earlier. Well marked, “Bronze/ BB& B.”
There are some small scratched in numbers on the reverse of these, that I don’t have any explanation for.
Fine condition, with slight toning and will clean.
