A scarce insignia for the 82nd Division with multiple letters used for Ammunition Train.
The 321st Field Artillery was part of the 82nd “All American” Division in WWI. This single collar insignia is for an officer of the ammunition train of that unit. In this scare variant there are not just the “A” & “T” as seen on other ammo train insignia, but this has a more accentuated abbreviated type which includes an additional small letter following the larger.
Very well made, and not commonly seen in any condition; this one happened to be in an excellent state.
Measures 44mm long.
