The dark green netting showing light wear.
WWII British Dark Green Netting – Face Veil. Worn by paratroops, snipers, and others; also simply worn about the neck for warmth, despite the intended purpose. Occasionally seen in images of U.S. Paras using these. This is not the thicker camo version also seen, but a open netting material like that used for helmet nets, There are different dark colors running through this veil on close inspection.
The dark green netting has some light wear and fading throughout.
Very good – fine condition.
Measures approx. 47″ x 40″ when laid out flat.
