Description
Identical to one (or maybe the one) featured on page 83, fig 6- 93 of William H. Emerson’s book, Encyclopedia of US Army Insignia and Uniform. This excellent example show most of the original subdued finish on these early style stubby crossed cannon.
Worn on khaki, or OD service dress uniforms. Used for only a few years.
Pin back with open catch. 36mm wide.
Very scarce insignia.
