Bailey, Banks, & Biddle (Philadelphia), shirt sized 20’s 423 Infantry Regiment officer collar insignia. Pin back with locking catch. After 1923-4 the army adopted the flintlock musket for its infantry insignia, replacing the ’02 Springfield look. Strangely enough, this earlier pattern shirt brass was made for the 423rd Infantry who were activated
