Civil War Era Artillery Captain’s Cased Epaulets

Civil War Era Artillery Captain’s Cased Epaulets.  Fine quality with a gilt pair complete with artillery “A” buttons, and the shoulder studs (sewn onto the shoulders) for mountain. This are less common types and possibly English made. The box is appropriately colored with label, and stock numbers, etc. written on the bottom side.

Overall in excellent condition, with slight damage to the cardboard case (usually seen in the tin in this era), and one of the silver captain’s bars is missing.
