View of a great 14th corps badge and oddly shaped 1st sergeant’s chevrons.
An interesting view taken by an unknown photographer from the western theater of the Civil War of this 1st sergeant in sack coat with oddly shaped chevrons. He also wears a civilian double breasted vest. A great 14th Army Corps badge is applied to his slouch hat.
Has a revenue stamp on the reverse.
Very good condition but trimmed along the bottom, and some blemishing on the image. A great study image.
