Massachusetts Minutemen, April 19, 1775, Haverhill, MA document
Israel Bartlett, of Haverhill, Mass, a Minuteman who answered the Alarm of April 19th, 1775, marching with his company to Lexington and Concord, on Americas first day in its war for Independence. Israel Bartlett signed this document as a witness and as Justice of the Peace. The deed for land being sold in Haverhill, by a Robert Treat (a lieutenant in the Rev War) to Benjamin Gale, and is dated 5 November, 1803.
The partially printed form document is very clean, with some separating in some of the folds, but largely intact, should be repaired. There is a watermark in the paper, “S Lay,” and may be imported.
