Massachusetts Minutemen, April 19, 1775, Haverhill, MA document – SOLD

Description

Israel Bartlett, of Haverhill, Mass, a Minuteman who answered the Alarm of April 19^th, 1775, marching with his company to Lexington and Concord, on Americas first day in its war for Independence. Israel Bartlett signed this document as a witness and as Justice of the Peace. The deed for land being sold in Haverhill, by a Robert Treat (a lieutenant in the Rev War) to Benjamin Gale, and is dated 5 November, 1803.

The partially printed form document is very clean, with some separating in some of the folds, but largely intact, should be repaired. There is a watermark in the paper, “S Lay,” and may be imported.
