Description
This is an interesting pair of insignia with the only identifying marking is on the back of the tiny thumb nut, “L.M.W. PAT.1858686,” which I believe is an American patent number. The insignias are certain out of the normal types observed in this era. The fastening nut looks like other lapel insignia seen in the interwar period. Made of stamped bronze with a natural luster that looks like a gilt plate. If you know different, please advise.
47mm wing span.
Excellent condition.
