Civil War Bridle Leather Waist Belt & Oval US Buckle

Description

I purchased this belt and buckle separate from anything, so it comes without history. An honestly used wartime belt with some flaking in some areas, and chipping along the edges in some areas.  The buckle an unmarked arrowback.  The leather has a good remnant of a contractor stamping from Newark, NJ. but can’t make out the contractor.  Original brass keeper still attached.

Overall very good, and a great displayable piece.
