Military Uniform Plate – 4th Regt. Light Artillery Co. F. NYSM, 1852.
A bit rough around the edges with chipping and small tears, but not affecting the illustration. Now that the bad is out of way, there is a whole lot of good; Looking very much like a French military uniform, (and perhaps copied from the French), this uniform worn by officers and men of the the 4th Regiment of Artillery, NYSM, is quite colorful, particularly the mounted officer with fancy shabrack.
