CDV – Armed 10th New York Heavy Artillery Image.
Signed on the back when Wright was at Camp Richmond, December 1, 1862. Wearing a shell jacket while holding a small pocket revolver in studio with painted backdrop. Wright enlisted on August 13, 1862, as a private, and mustered out at Baltimore on May 13, 1865.
The regiments had engagements at Cold Harbor, Petersburg Campaign, and Cedar Creek.

The 10th Heavy Artillery was organized in December of 1862, from the 4th, 5th, and 7th battalions of Artillery. Mustered in at Sacket’s Harbor, New York in September of 1862.
Very good condition.
