Description

Shooting Badge Lot for 2nd US Cavalryman. This lot belonged to Quartermaster Sergeant C. Pullman, Troop “F” 2nd Cavalry.

The lot consists of:

  • Pullman’s  Northern Department Pistol Prize in bronze, awarded in 1908.  This medal was awarded from 1907 to 1922.  35mm high.
  • Marksman Badge, early type with “T” bar pin. Made at R.I.A. from 1885, and issued up into the WWI period.
  • Expert Rifleman Badge, early type with “T” bar pin.  Two piece construction, designed in 1903. After 1915 all produced at R.I.A. were the one piece constuction.

All badges are in fine condition. These came from a non-militaria seller.  I have not researched Pullman.

A nice original lot.
