Embossed Shell Shaped Leather Powder Flask

Embossed Shell Shaped Leather Powder Flask, overall length is 9 inches.  Each side is identical, and sewn together around the entire border. The brass cap that incorporates an internal spring loaded thumb charger. The loader is adjustable.  The leather shows shows some fading which looked to be a darker brown overall. The brass has a blend of original luster and patina.  No maker name.

Retains some of the original heavier green twine sling attached to small applied iron loops.

An interesting piece using a thin, hardened embossed leather instead of thick leather normally encountered.
