1881 Enlisted “Staff” Helmet Plate, for enlisted personnel other than line troops (Artillery, Cavalry and Infantry).
Note the lack of crossed weaponry. The shield would not have a regimental number, but the insignia of the branch.
All original and complete with wire mounting loops.
Fine -excellent condition.
