1st Connecticut Infantry -Named 1878 Blanket Bag – Spanish American War Issue – SOLD

1st Connecticut Infantry -Named 1878 Blanket Bag – Spanish American War Issued to Musician Robert R. Ashwell, of Co. K.  He was mustered into US service from Hartford between May 17- July 14, 1898. The companies were split up and served at various coastal forts along the east shores of the US.

The bag is nicely identified in the inside front flap.  Condition is very good showing light wear.   Has the original leather slings with it.
