9th U.S. Cavalry Id’d M1887 Carbine Boot. Rock Island Arsenal made, with “9 CAV” marking (weak at the end). Other markings likely equipment numbers. A used but not abused boot with the body in very good -fine condition, and straps showing some creasing.

A great item with Indian War history.
