Admiral Lord Nelson Brass Snuff Box, Circa 1805. The brass snuff box made around 1805 with the bust of Nelson on the front with  “ADMIRAL LORD NELSON” above his head, and below, “Born 29 Sepr. 1758.” On the reverse within a wreath of oak leaves it reads, “CONQUEROR AT ABOUKIR 1 AUGT. 1798 COPENHAGEN 2 APRIL 1801 TRAFALGAR 21 OCTR. 1805 WHERE HE GLORIOUSLY FELL.” Marked “M & P FECIT.”

Approximately 2 7/8 inches diameter and 1 inch high. The lid and side of box is decorated with the Greek key design. Shows some wear, in very good condition.
