Description

CDV- 1st Lieut. Levi Tucker- Topographical Engineers.  He wears the shoulder straps with the “T E” and has the cap insignia for the Topo’s as well.  Tucker was first a private in Co. “C” the 113th Ohio Infantry, and was discharged for disability in February of 1863.

He can be seen in the book, “Straps” by Dr. Howard Lanham. page 71.  Also referenced to William Gladstone Collecton.

Wish the condition was better, a scarce image showing topographical Engineer insignia. very good, on the weak side however.
